Our Approach

The man called Peter Davis has been an artist working in clay and acrylic, a student of music, and a bit of  a composer and performer on piano and drums. He is the co-founder of an adult esoteric school (Center  For Conscious Being, and by other names), and an all-denominational church and seminary (Crystal Sun)  which have combined, educated nineteen ministers and over one thousand practitioners doing their work  in the United States and other countries. He is author of several books and monographs including The  Astonishing Physics of the Mind, Raging Angels at the End of the World, Mirror of Awakening, One Leg Dancing Master,  Energy Field Psychology, Trade Secrets of Private Practice, The Sleeper Must Awaken and Rebuilding Superman. He was  on TV at twelve, presenting his architectural designs, and won the yearly middle school science fair,  building and explaining the workings of a television.

For work this man has been been a clinical psychologist, health scientist, minister, adjunct professor,  CrossFit coach, tai chi and martial arts instructor, steel foundry worker, fence builder, fashion model, pool  player, drummer, bodyguard, registered investment advisor, notary public and suffered a few other curious  lines of work.

Peter has been a life long athlete, competing in wrestling, karate, American football, golf, pool, and  CrossFit. He was a captain for both wrestling and football teams in high school. He earned a wrestling  scholarship to a major university. In 2015, he was the world number one CrossFitter in the 65 plus age  group. His father taught him hard work, mechanics, science, wrestling, swimming and mountain climbing;  his mother taught him dance, music, philosophy, cooking, cleaning and gardening. He learned from many  truly extraordinary teachers, both men and women, often off the beaten path. He has taught at several  universities.

Of great pride to the author is that he has carried forward the t’ai chi ch’uan lineages originated by Wu  Chian Chuan and Yang Pan Ho (Kuan Ping Yang) over decades, both as a practitioner and teacher. 

​

He has studied many subjects in depth including anthropology, physics, astronomy, comparative religion,  metaphysics, health science (M.S.), orgonomy, mechanics, evolution, meditation, machine intelligence,  traditional martial arts and clinical psychology in which he holds a doctorate. He has lived a diverse, rich,  loving, sometimes careless or stupid, and inventive life according to his friends and those who have best  known him; perhaps somewhat due to his upbringing, which exposed him to natural wonders, powerful  minds and continuous challenges.

A USA citizen, he has lived in three countries and visited others. He has been a husband and a father.  Throughout his life, he has considered himself a citizen of Planet Earth and perhaps the universe, not  only from a particular nation.

Not always successfully, but during every day of his life, his first priority and passion has been to live in a  way that enhances the well being and possibilities of all the beings around him.
